Beach Cottage

Project Brief

This small, poorly laid out 1950’s beach cottage, had fallen into serious disrepair was in need of a complete renovation. Stringent coastal requirements forced a keen eye to be focused on architectural planning, town and coastal approvals and construction strategy. This musty structure was transformed into a lovely year-round get-away. The reconfiguration of the entire interior space expanded the living area making the most of the gorgeous surrounding views and allowed for two bedrooms, a kitchen, a full size bathroom with washer/dryer and sun-filled living area.
